Hi! I’m Patrick Mork. Affectionately known in the tech space as 'mad mork'. I’m an award-winning marketer, storyteller, brand builder, strategist and tech marketing wizard with over 20 years experience marketing everything from soft drinks (Pepsi), to mobile games (glu mobile), to app stores (Google play / GetJar). Along the way I’ve worked in large multinationals, medium sized tech firms and scrappy start ups.

Google Play - as director of global marketing, I built and led the team responsible for rebranding Android Market to Google play and launching Play Music, Books, Movies and Games
Course Hero: As CMO, I led the rebranding of the company (Ed:Tech pioneer in study materials sharing) and helped shape the company's positioning and overall story
GetJar: As CMO and employee #6 at GetJar, I built and managed the team that positioned the company as the largest independent app store, secured press coverage in the WSJ, NYT, Time Magazine, CNBC, Reuters, and Bloomberg among others and personally negotiated marketing deals with Zynga, the Salvation Army and Rovio (the makers of Angry Birds).
I'm a 2-time winner of the Platinum Award for excellence in marketing from Google and a Pocketgamer Mobile Gaming Hall of Fame inductee.
